The first 18 holes at Tubac Golf Resort and Spa were built in 1959 by famed golf architect Red Lawrence. Ken Kavanaugh enhanced the original design and added a third championship nine holes, which opened for play in 2006. Tubac was the setting for Kevin Cosner's famous golf movie, Tin Cup. The practice facility is ideal for "One to One" golf instruction and the staff prides itself in having the best conditioned practice area in southern Arizona.
