We have seen the ebbs and flows of the industry for decades, none more apparent than the COVID era. The game of golf boomed during COVID, and a lot of golf schools popped up across America to capitalize on the growing industry. Most of these golf schools are what we call “brokers”. They act as a middleman between golfer and golf course, oftentimes with no relationship with any Arizona courses or pros, and just calling and scheduling with whichever pro they can find on the date requested.

At our VIP Golf Academy locations, all of the pros you could be paired with work directly for our company. Our PGA and LPGA Professionals are all vetted to ensure that their teaching style aligns with our mission and that our clients will get the best instruction possible every time. At our golf schools, we do not believe in a one-size-fits-all method of teaching.

We understand that every golfer differs based on their unique combination of skill level, physical ability, on-course confidence, and learning style. Effective teaching begins with recognizing those differences; this is why we only work with the TOP PGA and LPGA Professionals, with an average experience of over 20 years teaching. Unless you come to us as a completely new golfer, we work with what you already have. No matter the handicap, we make edits to your current swing; we do not attempt to recreate it. Clinic-style golf schools apply the same teaching methods to groups of students who all have different needs, completely negating the golfer’s existing skill level.

A lot of our competitors emphasize daily on-course play. At first glance, this could seem like a benefit. However, two hours of instruction in the morning, then hopping on the course after lunch, runs the risk of the golfer falling right back into old habits. At our golf schools, we encourage you to trust and rely on your teaching professional to do what they get paid to do: teach you! If this means you need to drill on the range for a while, it is encouraged that you trust this is what is necessary to improve your game. You’re paying for individualized instruction with a TOP PGA or LPGA Professional. Utilize that valuable time getting the necessary information and doing the work they recommend! They will know when you are ready to take it to the course.
